Not the most ergonomic setup, so my reviews will be more sporadic than the rate at which I’m reading. Why 20+? Well, I’m four days in including the actual day of surgery, and I’m already through four books.įor now my laptop is on the dining room table instead of in the living room, because it’s a hefty laptop and at the top edge of the amount of weight I’m allowed to lift right now (oops). So before surgery I picked up 20+ books by various authors I already like and in series I want to complete. ![]() When I read review books they’re less consistently good than ones I’ve picked out and bought myself, because I didn’t pick them out to match my tastes. ![]()

![]() ![]() Of course, all good things must come to an end and the lion is found out by Iris’s mother and he runs away, only to eventually save the town from a duo of dastardly thieves, becoming a hero. They spend their days alternating between trying to hide the lion from Iris’s parents and losing themselves playing together in Iris’s room. Thus begins the friendship between Iris and the lion. Of course that’s just silly, a huge lion won’t fit in a playhouse, so the little girl invites him in and offers to hide him. He himself is scared so he runs and runs until he finds himself in a little girl’s yard, hiding in her playhouse. It’s a sweet little tale about a lion who goes out shopping and immediately frightens the townspeople away. ![]() I found How to Hide a Lion in Auckland on the last day of our trip. ![]() ![]() ![]() And although Bena loves their infant son, Little Ted, she's convinced that something is horribly wrong with him.
